Fife Fishermen: Portraits & Recipes by Caroline Trotter

This is a record of some of the people who make, or have made, their living from fishing the shores around the East Neuk of Fife. From Lower Largo in the south to St Andrews in the north and all the beautiful villages in between - St Monans, Pittenweem, Anstruther, Cellardyke and Crail. These photographs provide a moment in the lives of the characters involved in the fishing industry today. The result is a collection of black and white portraits that capture the essence of the men who have devoted their lives to the sea at home and beyond. Included are these individuals' own recipes or recipes inspired by their stories, featuring fish local to Scotland.
