The seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo

"The seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo" is a historical fiction book written by Taylor Jenkins Reid. It is about a famous Hollywood actress who had grown old and wants to die knowing people finally knew the true story behind her and all seven of her husbands. So, she decides, the best way for people to find out is through writing a book.

While reading this book, I liked how it switched between Evelyn Hugo explaining her story to the writer (Monique) and her POV, as I feel it would have been boring to read just Evelyn's story throughout the whole book. Although I liked that it switches between POVs as it kept it interesting. I still found myself getting to a point where I wasn't that motivated to keep on reading as nothing was happening, but then there was unexpectedly a plot twist that hooked me straight back in and after that I couldn't put the book down. Overall, it was a good read, and I would recommend people read this book to anyone above 15 years old that likes historical fiction or romance.

I would personally rate the book 7/10.
