This year on 3rd March 2022 was our first World Book Day organised by the Booksellers Association and National Book Tokens. Schoolchildren were given a voucher that they could bring to the bookshop and exchange for a free book.
It was great to see the shop full of children, parents and teachers. Hopefully encouraging children to start reading when young will introduce them to a lifelong hobby.
